The Intelligent i-Socket Autoswitch from DGC Products is a patented automatic vacuum switch that uses an on-Board Micro-Controller which is programmed to monitor and control the in-rush of current when two large motors try to power-up at the same time. Thus, eliminating an overload on the circuit breaker.

Electronics: A software imbedded microcontroller controls the in rush of current when the motor starts up to help eliminate overload of the circuit. Once the tool stops, it provides power to the vacuum for seven seconds to clean out the inlet pipe. It shuts off the vacuum and sits in a ready state for the next use of the tool.
Can I use the i-Socket AutoSwitch with an extension cord?
Yes. Use a 15 amp, grounded (3-prong) cord.
Why does the vacuum stay on?
Check the power cords. The TOOL and VAC inputs may be reversed.
What is the warranty on my i-Socket AutoSwitch?
The i-socket AutoSwitch is warranted for 90-days against manufactures defects. DGC Products, Inc reserves the rights to refund or replace any product found defective within the warranty period.
Can I connect multiple chop saws to one i-Socket AutoSwitch and Vac system?
Yes, use a power strip to link all preset angled chop saws. NOTE: Only one saw at a time can be triggered.
What is the Actuation Threshold?
The actuation threshold is the minimum amount of current that needs to flow through the primary/TOOL outlet before the microprocessor turns on the secondary/VAC outlet. This current level is set to about 0.7 amps, which is roughly 85 watts at 120V).
