It's important that any carver doing this piece, pay close attention to maintaining smooth, uninterrupted lines that separate the fans and center swirl from one another. In other words, when carving this piece, pay attention to the edges of the "positive images" as much as the internal edges of the fans and center swirl. The more you work at achieving that goal, the more you'll be pleased with the end result.
