AMS-003 - Amana 8pc Up & Down Cut CNC Basics Bit Set: Klingspor's Woodworking Shop Exclusive

The AMS-003 Basics set has all you need to get started. You get the three most common spiral endmill sizes in both up and downcut configuration (1/16", 1/8" & 1/4") and 60° & 90° solid carbide V bits. Being made of 100% solid carbide will last longer and cut better.

Downcut bits offer the best general cutting and milling results on all wood materials while leaving the top edge super clean and chip-free.

Upcut bits do well for drilling and deep profile applications where you need the waste material pulled up and out of the cut.

Since this set offers both the 60° and 90° V bit, you will have your bases covered for just about any v-carve application.

All the bits in this set come in the SPEKTRA COATING for longer life.

The only other item you will want is a surfacing bit. For that, we recommend the RC-2255 (1/2" shank) or the RC-2265 (1/4" shank).
