The Shark SD120® is a gateway to unlimited creativity. Hobbyists and pros use it to create custom parts and joinery, perform precision drilling functions, or cut anything decorative. The machine's tight footprint easily fits under or on one end of your workbench. This prevents your woodworking space from becoming cluttered with tools, ensuring you have ample space to work.  

The Shark SD120® CNC machine features a 12” x 30” table designed for larger projects such as carving plaques or signs, ornamental boxes, and precision parts machined from wood, soft metals, or plastics. Using our included 3D carving capability and a 3D model library, you can easily cut beautiful relief carvings, intricate inlays, and exquisitely detailed engravings. The incredible accuracy of the Shark SD120® even allows customers to engrave custom circuit boards. 

The SHARK SD120® has an added feature: the Y axis extends 1” beyond the fixed bed.  This will allow clamping and machining on the ends of long boards, such as box joints or tenons. See the manual for more information.  

The Shark SD120® offers two control options.  

1. Using the included Vectric VCarve Desktop Design Software, you create your project and transfer it to a USB drive, which plugs directly into the LCD pendant. The convenient touch-screen Pendant interface eliminates the need for a computer to control the CNC in your shop.
   
   
2. You can run the Shark SD120® from your computer with the Ready2Control program for more control and interactivity. This lets you use the exclusive, patented Virtual Zero Unlimited® program.  Our program will adjust your design to fit curves and angles that would be impossible on other brands of machines. (Computer and flash drive not included). 

The Next Wave CNC SD120® is made in the USA and includes USA-based technical Support.
