Narex is proud to introduce its premium Richter chisels, named in honor of the company’s founder, Mr. Vaclav Richter, and in celebration of the company's 100th anniversary. Richter chisels are crafted to precise specifications, featuring narrow sides that provide easy access to dovetail corners without the risk of bruising. With superior heat treatment and the highest quality manufacturing processes, these chisels boast durable edges and unmatched consistency in the steel.

The handles of the Richter chisels are made from European ash, which is renowned for its strength, toughness, and attractive grain. The handles' ergonomic design is sanded and hand-polished for enhanced comfort and control. Additionally, solid stainless-steel ferrules protect the handles from splitting, and leather washers absorb the shock from mallet strikes.

Narex Richter Chisel Details:

• Ultra-thin sides for accessing dovetail corners without bruising
• Blades are made from the highest quality Chrome Vanadium (Cr-V) steel using traditional drop-forging methods
• Hardened, cryogenically treated, and tempered to achieve a minimum hardness of 62 HRC
• Backs are ground flat to precise tolerances, requiring minimal flattening during initial sharpening
• Additional fine-grinding and polishing create a mirror-like surface
• The front bevel is ground at 24°, with a secondary micro-bevel recommended depending on usage
• Polished handles made from selected European ash hardwood
• Solid stainless-steel ferrules and leather washers for added durability
