Due to recent changes and regulations, Klingspor's Woodworking Shop has changed its Sales Tax Policy. If you or your company are Sales Tax Exempt and you have NOT submitted your Exemption Certificate for application to your account within the last year, please send a copy to firstname.lastname@example.org before proceeding any further. If your certificate has NOT been received and applied to your account, you will be charged NONREFUNDABLE sales tax on your order. This applies to ALL customers within the United States as we currently meet NEXUS requirements to collect and remit sales tax in 32 states.
If you have NOT submitted an updated copy of your certificate or provided us with your Certificate of Exemption within the last year, please confirm that your information did make the transition over to the new system. You can confirm your exemption status by sending an email with your name, address, and phone number to email@example.com.
As we are experiencing a high volume of certificates being turned in, please allow 24-48 hours for processing Monday - Thursday. Those turned in during an observed Holiday or during Weekend Hours (Friday - Sunday) will be addressed upon return to work, as the accounting offices will be closed.
If you choose to place items in your cart before your exemption is applied to your account, you will have to empty your cart, log out, and start again for the order to be tax exempt.
Funds for ALL online orders are collected at the time the order is placed! If you choose to proceed to checkout and place your order before you have received confirmation from our Accounting Department that your exempt status has been applied to your account, you will be charged NONREFUNDABLE SALES TAX on this order and ALL future orders until this requirement has been met.
Thank you for your help with this transition!
KLINGSPOR'S self-adhering silicon carbide paper rolls can be used for a number of different applications. Two of those are rubbing finishes and sharpening. When finishing with Danish Oil, this wet/dry paper can not only be used between each coat, but can be used to rub in the oil itself. Working progressively through the grit range, you will achieve the smoothest and deepest looking oil finish possible. For sharpening, stick the abrasive to a flat surface and simply treat it like a sharpening stone. It's amazing how this will not only sharpen, but polish your chisels and plane irons.
