Class Description:  This beginner’s class will provide all the basic info and techniques for small-bowl turning, including safety dos and don’ts.  Students will learn how to select blanks and mount them on the lathe using faceplates and/or chucks.  Methods for shaping the inside and outside curves of the bowl will be shown, as will techniques for proper sanding when the bowl is complete.  All students will have the opportunity to work on their own bowl during the class with instructor guidance and assistance as needed.

Tools/Materials Required:
All tools/materials are provided.  Students may bring their own turning tools if desired.
