The new PM2700 Shaper offers more features than any other shaper in its class. It features an extra-large 30" x 40" precision-ground cast-iron table, along with a heavy-duty miter gauge and an aluminum extruded support. 

One of its standout features is a built-in, omni-directional caster system (patent pending) that retracts into the base for easy transport. The machine also has a quick-release lever that facilitates fast speed and belt changes. 

The extruded aluminum fence is equipped with several T-slots, allowing you to mount a wood face to create a no-clearance surface around any shaper or router bit. This fence design enables you to swiftly move it close to its final position, lock it in place, and then use precision micro-adjustments on each side of the cutter to achieve the exact alignment you need. 

Additionally, the PM2700 includes a digital readout for spindle height adjustment, allowing you to make changes within .001". This precision is critical for aligning rail and stile cutters when making raised panel doors.
