The POWERMATIC® 37" Wide Belt Sander delivers exceptional performance in both measurement and sanding, ensuring a flawless finish every time. It features centralized controls that allow users to access all necessary buttons from a single, convenient panel. The variable speed feed belt enables users to precisely adjust the feed speed to suit specific projects and work environments.

Additionally, the sander includes a special digital readout control, which displays the exact thickness of the finished piece. Users can also preset their desired thickness for the final product. The sander comes equipped with a unique measuring device, the auto thicknesser, which captures the piece of wood and provides an accurate measurement of its starting thickness.

The POWERMATIC® 37" Wide Belt Sander utilizes an air-eye system that controls the oscillation of the 37" x 75" sanding belt. This feature prevents the belt from running off the ends of the drums, allowing for more uniform use of the sanding surface and ensuring that sanding lines are not left on the workpiece.

This sander is powered by a robust three-motor system for maximum performance. The first motor provides the necessary horsepower to drive the drive drums, while a second, smaller motor powers the variable-speed feed belt. The third motor operates the feed table, allowing it to move up and down to the desired thickness automatically and smoothly. 

For safety, the 37" Wide Belt Sander is equipped with a disc brake that slows the machine quickly and stops it instantly in the event of an emergency.
