Steel wool can leave deep scratch marks due to its shape. These nonwoven nylon 6" x 9" hand pads will accomplish the same thing without pattern scratches. These pads are made of a non-woven web of nylon impregnated with abrasive grain. These are perfect for scuffing before the final top coat of finish especially when using waterborne products where steel wool can leave unsightly rust spots.
