Description
Narex Cranked Neck Paring Chisel 1/4"
Narex chisels are made in the Czech Republic and offer exceptional value for their price. The blades are crafted from fine-grained chrome-manganese steel and hardened to an HRC of 59, ensuring excellent edge retention. They are precisely ground and have tapered edges, with a narrower profile than standard bench chisels.
These crank-neck paring chisels feature a neck bent approximately 30°, which offsets the handle and enables the chisel to reach difficult spots where other chisels cannot. They are also ideal for flush trimming, functioning like a flush chisel or a chisel plane.
The bevels are ground at a 25-degree angle. The handles are made from stained hornbeam, and the blades are securely held in place with steel tangs and solid brass ferrules.
