Description
Narex Cranked Neck Paring Chisel 3/4"
Narex chisels, produced in the Czech Republic, offer exceptional value for their price. The blades are crafted from fine-grained chrome-manganese steel, hardened to HRC 59, ensuring they maintain a sharp edge. These chisels are precisely ground, with edges tapered to a narrower land than standard bench chisels.
The crank-neck paring chisels feature a neck bent at approximately 30°, which offsets the handle and enables the chisel to reach tight spaces that other chisels cannot. They are also ideal for flush trimming, functioning similarly to a flushing chisel or chisel plane.
The bevels are ground at a 25-degree angle, and the handles are made from stained hornbeam. The blades are securely attached to the handles with steel tangs and solid brass ferrules.
