Description
Narex Cranked Neck Paring Chisel 1"
Narex chisels, manufactured in the Czech Republic, offer exceptional value for their price. The blades are crafted from fine-grained chrome-manganese steel and hardened to an impressive HRC 59, ensuring they maintain a sharp edge. They are accurately ground, with tapered edges that land narrower than those of standard bench chisels.
These crank-neck paring chisels have a neck bent at approximately 30°, which offsets the handle and enables access to hard-to-reach places where other chisels may not reach. They are also ideal for flush trimming, functioning similarly to a flushing chisel or chisel plane.
The bevels are ground at a 25-degree angle, and the handles are made from stained hornbeam. The blades are securely attached to the handles using steel tangs and solid brass ferrules.
