Description
Narex Dovetail Chisel 6mm 1/4"
Narex produces these dovetail chisels in the Czech Republic. The blades are crafted from fine-grained, well-tempered chrome-manganese steel and are hardened to 59 HRc. The blades' edges are ground to an acute 35-degree angle, providing excellent clearance in the tight corners of dovetail joints. The primary bevels are set at 25 degrees. Additionally, the blades feature a hollow on the back, similar to those found on high-quality Japanese chisels. The handles are made of stained beech wood, complemented by two antique solid brass ferrules. These blades can take and hold a sharp edge very well, but like all edge tools, they will require final honing before use.
The three-piece set comes in a wooden presentation box.
