Narex Dovetail Chisel 13mm 1/2"
Narex chisels are manufactured in the Czech Republic and offer exceptional value for their price. The blades are crafted from fine-grained chrome-manganese steel and hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 59, ensuring they maintain a sharp edge. This particular chisel is 1/2 inch wide.
The blade edges are ground at acute 35-degree angles, providing excellent clearance for tight corners, such as those found in dovetails. The primary bevels are ground to a 25-degree angle. Each blade measures 5 inches and features a hollow back resembling the design of Japanese chisels.
The handles are made from stained beech, measuring 5 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches in diameter, and they are secured with two brass ferrules. The overall length of the chisel is 10 1/4 inches.
