replacement Porter Cable pad
I was disappointed when after about 15 minutes of sanding I tried to peel off the adhesive disk and the entire rubber face of the pad came with it. It did speak well for the strength of the adhesive on the disks I also bought, and the pad seemed to work fine for the several hours of sanding the project required even without the rubber face

Superior 5in self-stick sanding pad
The adhesive backing material failed after less than 6 uses. It peals off the foam making the pad useless.
