Woodworkers across the country are finding the super benefits of this product. Steel wool will, over time, shred and rust no matter how good it is. Steel wool can leave deep scratch marks due to its shape. These nonwoven nylon 6" x 9" hand pads will accomplish the same thing without pattern scratches. These pads are made of a non-woven web of nylon impregnated with abrasive grain. For woodworking: These are perfect for French polishing or scuffing between top coats especially when using waterborne products where steel wool can leave unsightly rust spots. For metalworking: Great for a Spectacular to fine satin finish.
