Part-time Customer Service Representative

Job Description:

Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop is currently recruiting for an opportunity located in Hickory, NC. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.

The chosen candidate will be required to work part-time, approximately 30 hours, Monday through Friday flexible afternoon hours, Saturday (9am-5pm), and Sunday (1pm-5pm).

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Answer incoming phone calls and assists customers as needed.
-Assists customers with inquiries, requests, and questions regarding their accounts and orders.
-Performs order entry into the AS-400 system from incoming calls.
-Order entry of orders sent via USPS, Answering Service, and email.
-Assists in inventory management and packaging.
-Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

One to two years related experience or equivalent.
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proficient on Microsoft Office and AS-400.
-Ability to work independently and as a team member.
-Ability to sit or stand for long period of time.
-Ability to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds.
