Class Description:
In this introductory power carving class, each student will have the opportunity to carve either a shorebird or a spoon, based on their preference, and take their creation home to enjoy.
The class will begin with a comprehensive discussion on maintenance and safety requirements for using Foredom carving units. Students will also be introduced to various types of burrs and carving accessories.
After the discussion, students will move to their individual workstations to carve their chosen shorebird or spoon, under the guidance of experienced instructors.
