Return Policy

Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop Return Policy


 (Effective for www.woodworkingshop.com and retail brick & mortar stores)

We strive to get your total satisfaction with our company and your order. You may return most items within 60 days of delivery (online) or purchase date (in-store) for a refund, exchange, or store credit, subject to the conditions below.

Eligibility & Condition Requirements

    Items must be unused, in original condition, with all original packaging, components, accessories, and owner’s manuals included.

    Include your order number or receipt with the return.

    We inspect all returns. Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a restocking fee (at our discretion).

Non-Returnable Items

The following are final sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

    Opened PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) products (safety reasons)
    Gift cards
    Clearance, closeout, or final-sale items
    Custom or specially ordered items (where noted)

Power tools, machinery, and certain branded items may have separate manufacturer warranties and return procedures that supersede our general policy. Contact customer service for specific instructions.

How to Initiate a Return

    1. Contact us first: Call 1-800-228-0000 or email sales@woodworkingshop.com with your order number or receipt. We will provide return instructions and authorization.

    2. For online orders, use the return address on the back of your packing slip/shipping document.

    3. Ship the item back (customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error—see below).

    4. Retail store returns: Bring the item with your original receipt to one of our stores. Cash refunds may be issued by check if store cash is limited.

Refunds & Processing

    Refunds are issued to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the item.
    Please allow up to 14 days from receipt for processing and refund issuance.
    PayPal purchases: Approved returns may be issued as store credit only.
    Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Return Shipping Costs

    Free return shipping for defective items, damaged shipments, or our errors (we will provide a prepaid label or reimburse eligible costs).
    All other returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
    Exchanges on eligible items are processed at no additional shipping cost to you where possible.

Important Notes

    This policy applies to both online and in-store purchases and is subject to change.
    We reserve the right to refuse returns that appear used, abused, or do not comply with these terms.
    Manufacturer warranties on tools and equipment remain in effect and may provide additional remedies.
