The POWERMATIC® WP2510 Planer features a robust steel helical cutterhead equipped with four-sided carbide knife inserts that require no adjustments when changed. It is designed with a digital readout and a straightforward PC controller, making it quick and easy to set up the table heights. The frame is crafted from heavy cast iron and includes extra-wide side panels that provide rigid bed support, ensuring precise alignment.

The planer's segmented, serrated infeed roll is paired with segmented chip breakers and offers an independent yield of 1/4. Its automatically adjusting chain-drive gearbox powers the 3-inch-diameter infeed rollers, the solid pressure bar, and the dual outfeed rollers for accurate feeding of stock. The three-speed feed selector allows woodworkers to easily switch feed rates, providing flexibility during use.

The WP2510 Planer also boasts a large precision-ground table measuring 32-3/16" x 26", which includes two adjustable table rollers for smooth feeding of uneven stock. Additionally, the planer features a Quick-Set micro-adjustable lever that allows for easy height adjustments of the table rollers from 0 to 0.05 inches. The hood is equipped with a built-in 5-inch diameter dust chute for efficient dust collection.
