This heavy-duty planer combines exceptional performance and value, featuring standard components often absent in other machines in its class. With a powerful 5HP motor and a 20" planing capacity, it is capable of handling even the most demanding tasks. The helical cutterhead ensures quieter operation and provides a finer finish compared to conventional systems. Plus, the four-sided knife inserts easily and seat themselves without the need for a setup gauge.

The 5" dust port conveniently connects to any dust collector, while the anti-kickback fingers and pressure bar are strategically positioned near the cutterhead, resulting in an outstanding finish. Built with a solid cast-iron base, table, and head, this planer is designed for production use.

It features a 2-speed oil-bath gearbox that delivers full power to the feed rollers and allows quick speed changes at 24 and 31 feet per minute (FPM). Additionally, the gearbox can be modified to a 4-speed system with the included gear, allowing for lower speeds of 16 and 20 FPM.

The corrugated infeed and fine-groove outfeed rollers ensure smooth feeding. The precision-ground and polished cast-iron table is supported by four robust steel columns, making it stable enough to support larger workpieces. Heavy cast-iron extension wings further guarantee a flat, smooth cut.
