Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop Woodworking Club & Guild Program
"Supporting Woodworkers and the Clubs That Bring Them Together"

At Klingspor’s Woodworking Shop, we believe the heart of the woodworking community beats strongest in local clubs and guilds. These non-profit organizations are far more than meeting places, they are the backbone of skill-sharing, mentorship, community service, and lifelong friendships among woodworkers across the United States.

From woodturning chapters affiliated with the American Association of Woodturners (which supports more than 360 local groups, the majority in the U.S.) to independent woodworking guilds and woodcarving clubs, these non-profit groups play an essential role in both local and national woodworking communities. They educate beginners, challenge advanced makers, preserve traditional skills, and often give back through charitable projects such as toys for children, furniture for community centers, and therapeutic carving programs for veterans. Without them, the craft would be far less vibrant and connected.

That’s why we created our "Woodworking Club and Guild Program"  a simple way for clubs like yours to help members save money on tools and supplies they already buy, while introducing them to Klingspor Abrasives high-quality industrial abrasives and sanding solutions.

Why Clubs Matter and Why We Support Them

Non-profit woodworking clubs are an essential part of the larger woodworking ecosystem. They create spaces where knowledge is freely shared, new makers are welcomed, and experienced craftspeople give back. Many operate as formal 501(c)(3) organizations, focusing on education and community service rather than profit. Whether it’s a woodturning chapter helping members master the lathe, a carving club teaching traditional techniques, or a general woodworking guild running charitable build projects, these groups strengthen both the craft and the communities around them.

By partnering with clubs through our Woodworking Club and Guild Program, we aim to support that mission making quality tools and abrasives more accessible while helping clubs continue the important work they do.

But wait there's more! You'll also have access to Klingspor's Woodworking Shop
