Description
These are our "STEARATE" sheets. They are Aluminum Oxide, resin bonded, paper backed for long life and tear-resistance. This material is recommended for bare wood sanding and autobody use. Applications include sanding of bare metal, primer surfacer and between coats of paint, lacquer and shellac. Also useful on sanding of solid surface countertops such as CORIAN, FOUNTAINHEAD and AVONITE. Our very high quality Zinc Stearate material, added in the size coat, will outperform virtually all competitors.

Gold, that's what this abrasive is: GOLD. Our shop hand sands, hand sands and then hand sands some more. We cut these sheets into 3-inch strips to return wood profiles to their former glory. PS33 has a light enough backing that you can fit it around the sanding grip and get to work. Use a little air after a few passes and it wound gunk up during final paint removal and gives the profiles new life.
