Description
Orange | 4oz
Wood Dyes provide brilliant transparent colors that enhance but do not obscure the wood grain or figuring. Formulas are made ready to use with a fast-drying alcohol base utilizing the highest quality, UV-stable dyes available. The addition of resins helps provide more uniform coverage and helps to seal the wood.
Use the dyes as single colors or mix together in liquid form to create new colors. Multiple coats of different color dyes can be applied on top of each other for stunning effects. A clear coat with UV protection, such as our Clear Acrylic Spray Lacquer, is recommended for coating the finished product.
The liquid is used for complete coverage or blotted on with a towel or brush for marbling effects. Denatured alcohol works best for cleaning and blending the colors.

Fantastic Product
Rebuilt a set 70’s speakers with Birch plywood and wanted something different. This stuff worked great. I wanted a different color than wood grain brown that was easy to apply and quick drying. This is fantastic color and the grain shined through. Very happy. Will buy again.

Wood Dye performance
So I bought this because it was the ONLY company I could find that sold colors that aren’t woody. I believe the product is alcohol based so I bought two 4oz bottles thinking a very evaporative dye/stain wouldn’t go very far. I was wrong. This stuff did double what I thought and came out EXACTLY like the the demo photo for the color. Wood grain show through beautifully and the color was spot on. Dry time was super fast as well. I’m keeping the extra bottle for future projects and strongly recommend this product. Thank You!!
