Mohawk Modified Tung Oil Quart
Tung Oil is a unique blend of pure tung oil and polymerized alkyd resin in a solvent system. It is known for being fast-drying, durable, and resistant to water, acids, alkalis, and mold. As one of the most resilient natural oils available, it is perfect for use on new or stripped wood furniture.
One coat of Tung Oil provides a low-luster finish, and additional coats enhance gloss. Compared to linseed oil, Tung Oil is far superior as it maintains the wood's natural color without darkening over time. Additionally, surface scratches can be easily removed with steel wool and a small amount of Tung Oil.
