The Gränsfors Small Gutter Adze has a different cutting edge, rounded at the ends. It is used to hollow out timber, for example, to make troughs, old-style gutters, and notchwork in log-building, where the rounded edge is ideal.

It features a 40 mm-radius cutting edge. It suits larger projects and flatter hollowing, such as larger troughs, boats, or chair seats.

All second-grade axes are marked with an S on the axe head.

The Small Gutter Adze is usually kept for close work, so a small axe with a shorter handle is preferable. It is delivered with a sheath.
