Hock Tools 2" Replacement Chip Breaker For #4 & #5 Hand Planes
This chip breaker is for traditional Stanley-type planes. To maximize your plane's performance, a thicker chip breaker (cap iron) can stabilize the blade's cutting edge, reducing vibration and chatter.
Set your breaker very close to the cutting edge to prevent tear-out. These chip breakers are 3mm (0.118") thick, almost twice as thick as a stock chip breaker.
A knurled cap screw is included.

Very high quality
This is a very nice, high quality chip breaker. Flat and smooth, ready to use right out if the package. Worked great with a Stanley Victor #5 with no modifications to plane or breaker.
