Wood Filler accepts most stains, tints or finishes and all finishing operations; painting, staining, sanding, drilling, sawing and lacquers. Ideal for edge veneering and woodgrain filling.

Mohawk Maple Wood Filler
This is the best wood filler I ever used! I filled three split joints on an antique desk's writing surface with this wood filler. Being water-based it didn't dry-out too quickly and had enough open-time for getting pushed into the split joints. The most amazing thing was the way it took the stain. It took the General Finishes oil-based gel stain nearly identically to the surrounding 140-yr old wood that I was trying to match. Truly amazing product!
