Fine Prewoven Cane 18" Wide

The most common size of prewoven cane that is held in a groove in the seat with glue and a spline. Sold per foot (1 foot minimum).

The standard of measurement of the weave is traditionally given by taking the distance between the centers of the holes. Another way to get the measurement is to measure from the edge of one weaver to the same edge of the corresponding weaver on the adjacent weaving pattern. On this 18" wide material, this measurement is 1/2". This is the standard measurement for the "Fine" mesh weave, which is the most common.

The width of the individual weavers is 2.5mm.
