About the Planer Belts
The Planer belts are perfect for heavy stock removal. They work well for grinding of stainless steel, spring steel, titanium and other hard steels and for dimensioning of wood. They may also be used for heavy stock removal of plastic, rubber, glass and stone or concrete products.
About the Sharpening Belts
These belts are manufactured from our famous "Klingspor Gold" material. They have a very flexible backing and are perfect for use on contoured workpieces such as scissor handles, dental instruments, etc. This material is best suited for stainless steel and high alloy steels, but can also be used on other ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals and woods.

Linen Belts are a versatile belt with no grit and low stretch qualities for honing to a razor sharp edge. Think of it as if you could flip a belt over and use the soft cotton backing without running into the belt joint. Linen belts offer the ability to apply any polishing compound and hone.
