Description
*CLOSEOUT* Longworth Chuck Riser Rings
This product is great for roughly turned bowl blanks that have become oval and do not sit flat on a base plate. It helps keep them stable and supported while you work.
Meet the Longworth Chuck Riser Rings, an essential accessory for woodturners who want versatility and extra care for their best work. These riser rings work easily with the Longworth Chuck, giving a gentle, non-marking grip and keeping steel washers away from knife-edged or sharply flared plates and bowls. You can set them up quickly, hold your pieces securely, and work with confidence on your most delicate items.
If your roughed-out bowl blank dries and turns oval, our riser rings are the perfect fix. Just place four riser rings, one over every other button, to give your bowl stable, four-point contact. This keeps your piece secure and makes it easy to true up the tenon and flatten the rim. For bowls with more severe warping, you can stack two riser rings to get the height and stability you need.
