At first glance, the knife appears to be well made (time will tell). However, the knife is neither sharp nor ready to use. The satin polish of the main blade doesn't bother me but the cutting edge (?) more resembles a micro-saw blade! It won't even cut paper let alone carve any kind of wood. I will hand sharpen and hone the blade to see if it is worth keeping. Not really worth the $30 it cost me.
