The Sorby Excelsior 1/2 inch Spindle Gouge is ideal for woodturners wanting less sharpening and more turning. Its Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating extends edge life, making it great for hardwoods and detailed work along the grain. Shape coves, beads, and profiles on goblets, vases, bedposts, and candlesticks. This 1/2 inch gouge features a 12-inch ash handle, measures 18-1/4 inches overall, and has a high-speed steel blade with TiN coating for lasting sharpness and smooth cuts through tough wood.
