The precision Honing Guide is a durable and accurate tool for sharpening edge-cutting tools. The main frame is a die-casting and the other parts are all machined from brass or steel. For maximum versatility, it should be used with a bevel gauge (Angle Jig). The guide will hold blades up to 2-3/8" wide and 5/8" thick

I purchased one because a friend sharpened one of my chisels on his, I know there is a more sophisticated model, but this is what I was looking for and it looks like it will last forever.
