About the Cover
John Wood, Part-time Sales Associate with Klingspor's Woodworking Shop of Hickory
John has been carving for 16 years and has won many awards while learning and mastering the awesome hobby of woodcarving. One of his most proud awards: 2011 Novice Carver of the Year. John loves to carve birds, hawks, ducks but his favorite is the Decorative Floating Decoys. He loves carving because he loves meeting people from all over the world. He wanted to thank his mentor - Don McHugh of Hickory NC for getting him started in this great hobby.
