This is our fastest-curing agent for TotalBoat High-Performance Epoxy Resin. It cures overnight even in cooler temperatures. Use a 2:1 mix ratio by volume. The finish is clear and blush-free, making it great for clear-coating and you won’t need to wash between coats. We also offer the fast hardener in a 26.1-gallon container for use with resin drums. You can pour TotalBoat High-Performance Epoxy Resin and Non-Blushing Hardeners and measure them by weight or volume. For exact amounts, use TotalBoat 2:1 Epoxy Pumps. These pumps only fit TotalBoat High-Performance containers and won’t work with other brands’ 2:1 epoxy container.

WHICH TOTALBOAT HIGH-PERFORMANCE HARDENER DO I NEED FOR MY PROJECT?

High-Performance Fast Hardener: Choose this option for the fastest cure and shortest working time at room temperature, or if you need an overnight cure in cooler temperatures (at least 55°F). Pick this when you want to finish your project as quickly as possible.

High-Performance Medium Hardener: This is a good choice for most projects, or if you want an overnight cure at room temperature (77°F). It offers a balance between working time and cure time, giving you reliable results.

High PerfoHigh Performance Slow Hardener: Choose this if you need more working time and a longer cure at room temperature, or if you’re working in warmer conditions. If you’re new to epoxy resin, the extra working time can make things easier.ter, you can customize pot life and cure time further by combining the different hardeners. Just remember to always maintain the proper ratio of 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume.

APPLICATION DATA

• Application Temperature/RH: Minimum of 55°F, relative humidity 0-90%
• You can apply it with a brush, roller, or syringe. It can also be poured and spread using an epoxy spreader.
• Recommended Temperature for Dispensing by Pump: 60-70°F
• Pot Life @ 77°F: 10 minutes
• Tack-Free Time @ 77°F: 2 hours
• Full Cure @ 77°F: 2 days
• For safety, work in a well-ventilated area and wear protective eyewear, clothing, and gloves.
