Description
TotalBoat High Performance Epoxy Resin Part A ONLY - Quart
This is part 1 of a two-part, low-viscosity epoxy resin system that’s simple to use for clear coating, laminating, layups, and vacuum bagging. Use it with non-blushing TotalBoat 2:1 Slow, Medium, or Fast Hardeners to cure in different times and temperatures.
- The non-blushing formula means you don’t have to spend time cleaning off surface blush, so you can finish your projects more quickly. Its low odor and low VOCs make it a good choice for indoor or shop use.
- Mixing is easy with a simple 2:1 ratio of resin to hardener, and it’s even simpler if you use TotalBoat 2:1 Pumps (sold separately). This helps you get a proper cure every time.
- You can use this epoxy on properly prepared wood, fiberglass, aluminum, and steel. Its clear, hard, and flexible finish works well for clear coating and building wooden boats. You can also mix the epoxy with fillers to make a strong adhesive, fairing compound, or filleting compound.
TotalBoat High Performance Epoxy Resin gives you a crystal-clear, professional finish for woodworking, boat building, or composite projects. Its low viscosity helps it soak in quickly and level out smoothly, making it great for clear coating, hand layups, and showing off the natural look of wood or carbon fiber. Unlike traditional 5:1 epoxy systems, it cures to a tough, ultra-clear finish with extra flexibility. This makes it a good choice for kayaks, wooden boats, and other projects that need both strength and some movement.
You can use this 2:1 epoxy system with TotalBoat High Performance Fast, Medium, or Slow Non-Blushing Hardeners (sold separately). It gives you flexible working and curing times to fit your needs. Just mix 2 parts resin with 1 part hardener for a reliable cure every time. The non-blushing formula saves you time because you don’t have to scrub between coats, so you can finish your projects faster.
TotalBoat High Performance Epoxy Resin has low odor and low VOCs, so it’s safe and easy to use indoors or in your shop. Whether you build boats for a living or enjoy DIY projects, you’ll notice its great performance and value compared to other epoxy systems. It’s made in the USA.
